2011 ARCHERY SEASON (10/26/11)

Well its another season starting sat. oct 15. Gonna use this topic as my info spot to others what I have been seeing or shooting so stay tuned. I purchased a lid cam from rhino outdoors so maybe I can get some video on here some how.


10/20/11
Been in and outta woods . So far passed on a spike and fork horn. Both of these bucks when over to the does and checked them out by smell. other than that weather been windy and rainy mid fiftys. Most action been in am both hunting and on to way to work. Maybe windy conditions have a cause for this. Well good luck and we be talking to ya soon

Had yearling bucks grunting in woods but didn't see no chasing. Sun am had three different little bucks walk right under me. Seeing lots of deer in am 5-530 on the way to work. Have fri off so hopefully do some scouting around looking for some fresh scrapes. Weather is supposed to get colder as week goes along. Leaves are starting to fall in hard woods so that should bring more sightings of bucks sneaking thru the woods....well hopefully

11/14/11 just came off vacation. very disappointing season up untill sat afternoon. lots of spikes and fork horns. I don't remember so many spikes around. passed up oh probably 5 different spikes and couple forks. Now sat was a different story. I had a huge ten out in front of me 150 yrds away with a doe but wouldn t get no closer. Have fri off so maybe he 'll come by. Anyways there is lots of rut action going on in woods. Of course its almost "orange army season" so hpefully if I don't get him fri. he makes it untill next year. Rather get him with a bow than a gun. Good luck to everybody.
